Disappearance of political protesters has begun - America's next step in the New Axis of Evil

The Trump administration has begun targeting political protesters, echoing tactics of authoritarian regimes like those in Russia, North Korea, and China. On Saturday, ICE agents raided the home of Mahmoud Khalil, a permanent U.S. resident, and arrested him, claiming his student visa was revoked. However, Khalil was not on a student visa—he and is a lawful permanent residents and his wife is an American citizen.

Khalil was arrested in retaliation for his outspoken criticism of the war in Gaza and Netanyahu's policies. His family and lawyers were initially unaware of his location, a disturbing sign of suppression of free speech. Although a judge has temporarily halted his deportation, the administration’s actions send a clear message: dissent will not be tolerated.

Let us be clear, Hamas committed atrocities and war crimes against the people of Israel. Israel has every right to protect itself. But that does not include the indiscriminate killing of civilians and withholding humanitarian aid.

Khalil committed no crimes—he simply exercised his constitutional right to free speech. Yet the Trump administration alleges he is “aligned with Hamas” for advocating humanitarian aid for Gaza and condemning civilian casualties. This dangerous precedent is intended to silence countless others who oppose government policies.

But the question remains, are Jewish students on college campuses who called for the end of the war also “aligned with Hamas”? Are religious leaders like the Pope? Are world leaders who condemned the indiscriminate killings aligned with Hamas? In the world of Trump and his apartheid handler, the answer is yes.

The tactic is clear: intimidate critics, particularly those from minority communities, and quash dissent. If this continues, U.S. citizens could soon face similar treatment. This is not just about one man—it is about preserving fundamental freedoms. Silence now could lead to widespread oppression later
