Donald Trump and the Largest Data Breach in U.S. History

mjpardus

The greatest data breach in American history isn’t coming from TikTok, China, or Russia—it’s happening right here at home, thanks to Donald Trump. Trump gave access to the Treasury payment system to Elon Musk, an un-elected Apartheid aristocrat, representing the largest data breach in American history.

While Republicans whip up hysteria over social media apps, they turn a blind eye to a far more sinister invasion of privacy. Through a secretive and likely illegal deal, Musk reportedly paid Trump $277 million for access to the Treasury payment system, exposing millions of Americans’ most sensitive financial data.

This breach isn’t just about stolen Social Security numbers. Musk and his network of private-sector “tech bros” now have access to your bank accounts, salary details, credit score, employer records, and even the charities you support. It’s a goldmine of personal information, now in the hands of individuals who have never been vetted for security clearances. Their potential ties to foreign governments remain unknown, that also makes this a national security crisis of staggering proportions.

But it gets even worse. Trump didn’t just let Musk and his associates see the data—he gave them the authority to alter, manipulate, and download it onto unsecured private networks. With possible backdoors installed in the Treasury Department’s computer system, foreign intelligence services are celebrating. A single command from Trump or a compromised insider could cripple America’s ability to pay its bills, plunging the nation into chaos. This is how authoritarian regimes operate, and it’s happening under our noses.

It must stop, but House and Senate Democrats can’t do it by themselves. Call or email the White House and demand accountability by immediately shutting down the fiction called the Department of Government Accountability.

Contact your members of Congress, Both Republican and Democrat, and demand an investigation. Demand that they take immediate action to protect your personal data.
